For the first time I am offering one day (Saturday) courses to assist you with your wedding planning. I would love to be a part of all Thunder Bay wedding but with all the love in this town there just isn't enough of me to go around. So I thought it would be a great idea to get a group of brides even grooms and wedding parties together to talk about our experiences and to share suggestions. Brides, grooms and their planning team in any stage of the wedding planning process but cannot commit to a lengthy course would be interested in this program. It will provide anyone with tips and techniques to make their event unique and personal while learning how to work with and manage vendors in the wedding industry.

High Style-Low Stress Wedding Planning
February 2010
Discover how to plan a stylish wedding and experiment with everyday tools to create a unique and personal event. Couples and their planning team will also learn how to ask the right questions to hire prospective vendors or if already done how to implement their services correctly. Stress and time management techniques will be offered to provide support through the planning process.
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

Brides, grooms and their wedding planning team will discover how to plan a wedding with unique ideas that work within a $10,000 budget. Take home techniques on negotiating with vendors and learn where to spend and where to save.
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. Learn do-it-yourself techniques for unique reception decor.
2. Negotiate with vendors for the best value.
3. Save and splurge on their wedding budget where necessary.
4. How to research event material suitable for a Thunder Bay event.
Plan an Outdoor Wedding
March 2010
Learn how to plan an outdoor wedding in the unexpected climate conditions and natural surroundings of Thunder Bay and other areas. Brides, grooms and/or their planning team will also discover how to manage vendor services to suit their unique needs. Find out what can and has happened outdoors and how to be prepared for a stunning celebration.
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. Find the right vendors for an outdoor ceremony or reception
2. Ask the right questions when booking locations
3. What to expect and how to be prepared for climate changes and natural surroundings
